Doodlings

Welcome to the artistic expression of the subconscious mind.

As far as I can remember, whenever my mother was sitting still she was doodling. Mainly she would draw straight parallel lines and then draw perpendicular lines through them. She would fill up entire notebooks full of these doodlings. However, on my last visit home, I found her Doodlings had evolved. In addition to the lines were bright colors, flowers and flowing structures.

A 'Widgetized' edition of Chris Johnson's first book, "CodeBase", which is available in its entirety.

is the story of an introverted programmer, working as a cook in a pizza place, who builds his dream computer to find himself facing an unusual series of events which involve a pop star, whom he's been infatuated with for years.

Though it starts off with some technical jargon, the story is really a love story... albeit, fictional.

It takes roughly 4 1/2 hours to listen to the book.

This Widget was created for commuters in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area that wish to study traffic patterns. I started with the Mpls Traffic Widget by Matt Johnson and tweaked it to run on both Windows and MacOS, and added missing cameras as well as area selectors. This is based off of Tim Honl's traffic cam with modifications for the new traffic cam URL.

World Viewer

This Widget is a more generic camera viewer. The Widget is shipped with camera files from around the world. When you first run the Widget it will ask you where you want to store the camera files. Once chosen it will copy the camera files shipped. To view cameras from another location, right-click (control-click on a Mac if you don't have a two button mouse) on the Widget and select "Change Location". Functionality includes a favorites list, favorites filtering, camera cycling, colored themes, a user defined color theme, camera "thumbnail" view, control bar hiding, and more.

It also allows you to convert other traffic cams that are based on C. Scott Gilbert's cam Widget. See the README.txt file for details.
