Zoomy Space Dock

This Widget is total departure of the original Zoomy bar/docks and application launcher. I was working on some different programming styles and this is what came out. It is a fun dock style Widget with complete drag and drop capability to add icons. It is much simpler with less options that the prior docks.

To add icons, drop shortcuts or files or folders. It will ask you what to do from there.

This is an application launcher similar in style to Mac and Linux.

This is a rewrite of the original Zoomy Bar (and Vertical Zoomy Bar) using code that was developed in later Zoomies. It has many of the features that were requested from feedback on the original Zoomies.

Please try the Zoomy Bars and have fun with them - if there are things you would like to see, please post them in the comments.

Task List

This is a VERY simple Widget that lets you display a task list or any text (i.e. todo or notes) in the Widget. The text can be formatted by each line independently with tags:
Bold
Italics
Bigger Font
Color Red (etc.)

These tags apply to the line and should be at the beginning of the line. A generic task list file is supplied with examples (Task.txt) and is stored in the Widget data directory.

The preferences allow changing base font, color and size. As well as a tiled background if you want.

ISSUES:
The Widget does NOT see tabs, and will ignore them; use spaces instead.

Zoomy Dock

The Zoomy Dock Widget is an application launcher/dock in the style of Mac and Linux. This dock is a major rewrite from prior versions and is greatly improved. It allows drag and drop of executable/files and it will create a shortcut to that application, you may also include arguments for the application. Many icon images are supplied, or you may try and use the one associated with the file. You can remove/relocate icons by dragging them around/off the Dock.

Please try the Zoomy Dock and have fun with it - if there are things you would like to see, please post them in the comments.

Other Zoomies:
Zoomy Anulus - Ring based zoomy with sub-anulus (sub-menus)
Zoomy Space Dock - Floating marbles with different velocities and depths
Zoomy Vertical Bar - Original bar in a vertical orientation
Zoomy Bar - The original

The Azureus widget is a great way to monitor and maintain BitTorrent downloads and remotely control Azureus from another computer. This Widget is a port from the Azureus Dashboard widget created by Andrew Dupont.

Instructions for setting up Azureus to work with this Widget can be found at http://www.andrewdupont.net/azureus/. The walkthrough is specifically for its Dashboard brother, however, the instructions on the page for setting up Azureus should be followed closely.

Sudoku Widget (SuWi)

This Widget is geared toward the Sudoku solver who enjoys doing puzzles themselves without the software automatically solving the puzzle in any way. Ease of use is the key design factor with SuWi.

This Widget starts with a huge number of puzzles that are available freely on the internet. You can choose the daily BrainBusters puzzle (6 levels of difficulty) or a random puzzle from www.menneske.no (8 levels of difficulty). The puzzle will be loaded into the Widget and ready to go in seconds.

Once you have a puzzle ready to go, the user interface offers every tool needed to solve a puzzle quickly and efficiently. Pencil marks for all numbers are immediately available. Pen marks are made by double clicking the pencil mark. When you remove a pen mark, all pencil marks are retained. And for ultimate convenience, and perhaps a first for sudoku puzzle programs, all pencil and pen marks are saved when you exit the Widget. You may start and stop as many times as you like before you finish a puzzle.

A help screen, sizable puzzle, and adaptable user interface complete the list of features. Please give SuWi a try. You may find it to be just the sudoku Widget you have been looking for!
